Treating Peyronie’s Disease with Platelet-Rich Plasma

I wanted to tell you a little bit about how we use PRP also called Platelet-rich Plasma, to treat Peyronie’s disease. Peyronie’s Disease is a fairly common condition that leads to curvature of the penis, caused by some tightening of one of the tissue layers which can make things really quite difficult.

We target that specific area of tightening with injections of PRP which softens up the tissue, making it more supple and dramatically corrects the curvature.

PRP injections can be done painlessly because we provide some topical anesthetic cream to the surface, and we also do a little strategic nerve block with a bit of freezing that makes the entire surface quite numb. The PRP injections are very well tolerated and there’s essentially no downtime.

We get excellent results in treating Peyronie’s disease using PRP treatments.
