Hi there, it’s Dr. Grant Pagdin. One of the questions I get asked quite frequently with regard to our PRP treatments for face and for hair is why don’t we have more before and after photographs available for these procedures?
Well, we do have a before and after example for PRP for the hair, but in terms of PRP for the face, we do document people’s progress with photography, so you yourself are able to observe your own photos that we take in the office before and after your procedure. Nobody is too keen on having their face splashed all over the internet, so we protect our patient’s privacy and confidentiality, and those pictures are only for their own viewing and we don’t make any of those kinds of things public.
I can tell you that my wife has been in the office for treatment of PRP to the face and she was particularly concerned about some fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes that we call crow’s feet. So we did some close up photos of those, and there was a very clear difference before and after. In fact, what we did is we actually treated one half of her face initially with PRP and then took a photograph so that you could see at a glance, the difference between the two sides, and it was really quite dramatic. So I can tell you that there are appreciable noticeable changes right after the very first treatment of PRP, but we don’t publish those those images in view of privacy and confidentiality.
