Platelet-Rich Plasma Treatments for Dry Eyes

Do You Have Dry Eyes or Recurrent Corneal Ulcers?

We have been using PRP (platelet-rich plasma) here at Pagdin Health for a decade now. Platelets contain a whole array of growth factors that are very effective at settling inflammation and promoting healing.

Numerous recent papers have been published establishing the safety and efficacy of PRP for dry eyes and recurrent corneal ulcers, and the superiority of this over other treatments.

The treatment consists of drawing a small amount of your blood which is then processed in a sterile fashion to produce 12 vials of sterile eye drops, enough for 12 weeks of treatment. There are no preservatives, stabilizers, or additives.

The patient simply places one vial in the fridge and the other 11 vials in the freezer. One drop of PRP is applied to the affected eye(s) 4-6 times daily.
