We are delighted to welcome Michelle back to the clinic in September and look forward to having her once again provide exceptional care and support to our clients.

Michelle is a highly skilled registered nurse and Certified Hormone Specialist with extensive experience in clinical care, hormone therapy, research, and patient education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in Northern Ontario before completing a Master of Nursing at Athabasca University, specializing in Teaching and Leadership.

For more than eight years, Michelle has worked closely with Dr. Grant Pagdin, a leading hormone specialist in Kelowna. During that time, she has completed specialized coursework and received years of direct, hands-on training from Dr. Pagdin while helping care for his patients. Working under his direct supervision, Michelle provides knowledgeable, compassionate support throughout each patient's hormone-therapy journey. Her depth of experience and patient-centred approach help clients feel heard, well informed, and confident in the care they receive.

Before specializing in hormone care, Michelle gained valuable experience in emergency nursing. She later moved to the sunny Okanagan, where she joined Dr. Pagdin's practice and developed her focus on specialized health care and clinical research.

Michelle has made important contributions to the development of nursing protocols and policies for clinical research under Dr. Pagdin's leadership. Her work includes creating standard operating procedures for clinical practice, providing comprehensive procedural care, conducting telehealth appointments, and helping the practice adapt to evolving patient and health-care needs. She has also prepared manuscripts for submission to nursing research publications.

Committed to maintaining high professional standards, Michelle is a member of the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), Nurses and Nurse Practitioners of British Columbia (NNPBC), the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA), and the Clinical Nurse Specialist Association of British Columbia (CNSABC).

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband—whether relaxing on a sunny patio, swimming across the lake, hiking the Okanagan's beautiful trails, or skiing during the winter months.
