Mary Bradshaw RN, BSN

Mary Bradshaw is an experienced Registered Nurse with more than 24 years of clinical experience across a wide range of healthcare settings. Registered with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), Mary earned her Diploma in Nursing from Grant MacEwan University and has built a diverse career spanning surgical care, diagnostic imaging, oncology clinical research, public health immunization programs, occupational health, and procedural nursing.

Throughout her career, Mary has developed extensive experience in comprehensive patient assessment, procedural support, allergy screening, patient education, and interdisciplinary care coordination. Her broad clinical background allows her to approach each patient thoughtfully, with careful attention to their individual health history, concerns, and goals.

Mary has also completed the Oncology Nursing Distance Education Course (ONDEC), an in-depth oncology nursing education program originally developed through Edmonton's Cross Cancer Institute, providing her with a strong foundation in oncology care, patient assessment, and clinical safety.

Since joining Pagdin Health, Mary has completed focused training under Dr. Grant Pagdin in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) and medical weight-loss care. Through this ongoing training and mentorship, she has developed additional knowledge in hormone health, treatment monitoring, laboratory review, patient assessment, and individualized weight-management support.

As a BHRT and weight-loss provider at Pagdin Health, Mary works as part of a physician-led care model under the supervision of Dr. Pagdin. Patient reviews, treatment recommendations, and any proposed changes to a patient's medical treatment are reviewed with Dr. Pagdin, and all prescription medications are prescribed by Dr. Pagdin. This collaborative approach allows patients to benefit from Mary's extensive nursing experience and ongoing clinical support while maintaining physician oversight of their medical treatment.

At the heart of Mary's practice is her ability to connect with patients. She values clear, compassionate communication and believes patients should feel heard, informed, and comfortable asking questions about their health and care. Her approach is grounded in patient safety, confidentiality, thorough assessment, and collaboration with the broader healthcare team.

Mary also has a strong passion for clinical mentorship and has supported nurses entering new roles throughout her career. She takes pride in helping others develop confidence while maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical practice.

As a member of the Pagdin Health provider team, Mary brings decades of nursing knowledge, specialized training, a calm and reassuring approach, and a genuine commitment to helping patients feel supported throughout their health journey.
