Michelle Murtha, RN, MSN, BScN

Michelle is a skilled registered nurse with a strong foundation in clinical care. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in northern Ontario, she went on to complete her Master of Nursing at Athabasca University, where she specialized in both Teaching and Leadership. With several years of experience in emergency care, Michelle happily transitioned to the sunny Okanagan, where she works alongside Dr. Pagdin focusing on specialty health care and research.

Michelle is a dedicated member of several professional organizations, including the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), the Nurses and Nurse Practitioners of British Columbia (NNPBC), the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA), and the Clinical Nurse Specialist Association of British Columbia (CNSABC).

Notably, Michelle has contributed to the development of key nursing protocols and policies for clinical research under Dr. Pagdin’s leadership. Her work also includes designing standard operating procedures for clinical use, providing comprehensive procedural care and telehealth visits, and adapting to evolving health care needs. She has also submitted manuscripts for publication in nursing research and literature.

In her downtime, Michelle can be found enjoying life with her husband on a patio in the sun, swimming across the lake, or taking advantage of the surrounding hiking and ski trails.
