Dr. Pagdin’s Background and Training

People often want to know a little bit about my training and background. Well, I’m a graduate of the University of British Columbia Medical School. I am board certified in family practice with the Canadian College of Family Physicians, and I have a fellowship in family practice as well which requires additional training and additional medical education.

I also have additional education in emergency medicine and did emergency medicine full time for ten years.

I also have a board certification with the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine which requires a number of educational courses, written and oral exams. The American Academy offers certain fellowship programs where you can do further training in an area of special interest. I have a six-month fellowship in stem cell medicine, which is administered by the University of South Florida Medical School. In addition, I trained with two individual physicians in Florida for some practical hands-on training in stem cell medicine.

So, when you’re looking at what type of a clinic you might like to go to have your stem cell treatment, it’s okay to ask questions about the credentials of the physician that’s going to be doing your treatment.
